
That is what Mazda wreckers do. Before demolishing the car, they extract reusable, good quality spare parts and then sell those at discounted price. Some people may have reservations about using old parts but let us be clear that their fears are unfounded. Take, for example, the non-moving parts like switches, levers, pedals, meters etc. These parts suffer little or almost no wear and tear and I see no reason why these should not be reused.
For that reason even some of the removed Mazda parts (for instance, gears and cranks) are in perfectly reusable condition. Why, then, go for costly parts when you can buy those cheaply? Besides cost saving, you can contribute to the cause of environment by recycling.
Although used parts can have no guarantee / warranty, one can assuredly buy as Mazda wreckers sell the parts only after checking and testing.
